Thread: Unban Request

1. Was banned for team Killing.
I was playing on a rush map not sure what the map is called but the one with the little island in the water. We had blown the first set of MCOM's and had moved forward to the next set. I was getting shot from behind on the island when i respond and went to investigate I miss took the uniform of a couple of snipers becasue one aimed at me and i opened fire killing the two. When someone said something I new what I had done and instead of appoligizing like I should have I made a smart ass comment "now start rushing" or something to that effect so it seemed like I did it on purpose.

3. I should have been more careful and made sure who it was befor I opened fire.

4. I know what I did was unacceptable on this server and I will do my best to make sure this never happens again.

First, thanks for bringing the matter to the proper forum and in the proper format.

I am indeed your banning admin. You were banned due to several reliable reports that you were outspokenly angry with the snipers on your team for not pushing the objective and, in your frustration, teamkilled them and then told them to start rushing. While it is against our rules of teamplay for any player to sit back and pad stats, or for them to simply not assist their team on the objective, teamkilling is never the answer and won't be tolerated: Whether it's some punk with an attitude or a long-time server veteran, rules are rules.

That said, your story is accurate to the events that were reported and you've given your side of the story.

You know what you did, and you know you were wrong to do it. You say you'll do your best to make sure this never happens again, and that's all I need to hear.

I'll have your vote put up which will run for no more than 3 days. In that time, my advice would be to consider your own limits and when it's time to take a break. Not much good comes from playing with a hot head.

I'm happy to inform you that your Unban Request has been Approved by the Admin vote, effective immediately. If you have any issues connecting to either server or otherwise, let me or another admin know and we'll be more than happy to assist you. That is also to say: Remember that non-teamplayers (lazy snipers) who do not answer the call to help their team are to be dealt with by admins (and only by admins.) Calling for an admin can save you from predicaments like this in the future, and I assure you we will do everything we can to get things the way they need to be.
