1. I was banned for calling an admin a "jackass" after he slayed me in haste and in error. The details of this ban can be found at: http://www.teamplayergaming.com/show...29#post1297329

2. CS:S No Awp/Auto. The admin who performed the erroneous slay was pd||Senses. The admin who performed the ban was Chuy. (space.cowboy)

3. Because my reaction was a natural expression of anger toward an incorrect practice by a server admin.

4. In the future, when an admin makes an erroneous slay, I will refrain from profanity and use more civil language to express myself or take my issues directly to the forums instead.

By vote of the CS:S admins, your ban has been overturned. You should be able to reconnect in the morning after the servers restart.


Admins are not perfect. Mistakes have been made and will be made again. But there is a right way and a wrong way to handle those situations. So long as it is done without disrespect, you may be able to ask about it in game, but typically it is better to bring it to the forums if you have an issue with it to prevent further disruptions on the server.
