How long am I banned?

Its for not following a call, so I hope not forever. I try to follow it, sometimes I dont pay attention when its called so I follow the team around...

I got slayed a little earlier I'm guessing by the same guy that banned me, and I DID follow the call. "Go ramp" so I go ramp. We all get raped, so me and another dude are holding up in ramp. BAM slayed.

Piranesi, I missed the call but I'm thinking it was A cuz I was following some people backyard to underpass. I see a smoke come out of B, so I get behind the corner and wait for the dude to push and I get him. I'm betting it was the admin cuz I got banned right then lol.

I like playing here, I know I grate some people's cheese but I dont get out of line very often, and neither of my "offenses" were bad at all.

You were banned for sitting B courtyard on pira when the call was split A. You've played here enough that you should know that there is no flank until the bomb is planted. In both this instance, and the prior slay on nuke, you failed to follow the call. Rather than rushing and helping get the bomb planted you hung back trying to get rotators. This behavior is unacceptable.

You need to provide your Steam ID before we move further on the unban vote.

lol watching the flank is unacceptable behavior? i dont want to argue with you, but I DO need to defend myself, as this is my banned thread. so here it is.

Nuke- i LED that ramp rush, i was literally the spearhead of that call. You can ask vafa if he remembers, he asked me to get the bank flash and I did. I was the first into ramp by ten feet, and I barely survived with like 2hp, which is the only reason i was hanging back (yes, the great NOMalot was scurred). i would have been destroyed if i went anywhere.

Nesi- i gathered that it was an A split by the team direction, and I was headed towards underpass. but as i said, i was already seeing nades coming out of b. if i didnt get behind that corner (for maybe 5 seconds tops), a good 3-4 of my teammates could have been toast.

i know this will sound self-serving and i sometimes come across as elitist, but i promise you i know all about team play. if you look up my id on legitproof you will see that i've been all over the leagues, and for most of it i was calling the strats. having someone watch for fast rotators and pushers is crucial to a lot of good strats.

that being said, i understand the server rules, and i like playing here enough that i will be perfectly willing to change the way i play if it means i can stay. just know its my belief that everything i do is in the best interest of winning the round for the team.

I have to apologize to you - in fact I did not give an entirely accurate account of your ban. Unfortunately, I deal with many problem players every night and sometimes little facts get lost. So in an abundance of caution I always try an leave myself little notes in the logs as to why I banned a player. The logs are now available and I have refreshed my memory.

In fact I did not ban you for sitting in B court on a split A rush on pria - you were slayed for not following the call. Immediately following the slay you decide to comment on the slay, deriding the decision to slay you. You showed absolutely no respect for an admin decision and were banned for your impertinence. Rather than taking your punishment like a man you whined like a baby and tried to turn it in to a big joke and you were banned.

As to your comment on guarding the flank - bullshit. If your team is worried about rotators out of B there are much more effective places to watch for them. Your position did nothing more for your team then get you a couple of kills while the players rushing sneaky took the brunt of the punishment. This however is a separate issue, as it only resulted in a slay. You were banned for admin disrespect and you need to address that issue for the process to continue.

Oh lol, is that what this is about? I never even disrespected you man, I remember exactly what happened. Do your logs record voice? Because all that even came out of my mouth was "lolol". I didnt complain or whine at all. I knew why you slayed me, even if I didnt agree with it I didnt argue.

I DID argue with you on the nuke one, because that was super lame. I helped get the team into ramp in the first place, and took the hits for it. But pira I just laughed then got banned. Yes, no?

I'm sorry if I annoy you, if thats what you'd like to hear. But my laughing was no disrespect. I know why I was slayed, I just thought it was ridiculous enough to laugh about.

But I'll do anything you like to get unbanned. I love you, I'm sorry I bug you.

-ps- I promise you watching for flankers is equally important to your site entry. But you dont have to believe me and I wont do it anymore.

I'm not really sure you get what the problem was/is...whether you like it or not this is our house and admin disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated for one minute. You thought it was funny that you were slayed for hanging back on a rush - we'll see how well that goes over when all of the admins vote on unbanning you.

And you think you have the right to sit and watch the flank while the rest of your team is pursuing the objective - that attitude is what got you slayed and I'm certain it will be well received by the CS:S admin community...


Now it's up to the CS:S admins to vote on whether to allow you back. Your vote will take no more than 3 days. Your results will be posted in this thread.

You should also take into consideration, that by the time I was slayed, I was with the rest of the team in A, thats verifiable by demo if you or the server recorded one. I didnt camp the corner.

I wasnt laughing at you, and I never meant any disrespect. If you interpreted it like that, then I'm sorry. I laughed because I thought it was ridiculous, and you laugh at ridiculous things. Relax.

Your ban has been sustained by an overwhelming majority. You can appeal the ban in 30 days.
