Kicked due to admin decision..

Ok so im writing this again, cause its the third time that this has happened at least... Im with my squad and i get kicked for admin decision.. So the last time it was for commander bug, which obviously it isnt me, second i was told we arent looking to just kick people, ok then please explain it to me why im getting the admin decision... I enjoy playing the game probably as much as you admins do, and i would rather post about other stuff then this.. I noticed the only warning you give is being a teamplayer, squadding up, which im usually the first to do, as you know PHX, you mentioned something with history with me, so please explain... I follow the rules and i get an admin decision kick... Sorry if it seems that im a little bit pissed, but without a warning and just being kicked, i thought you said the issue was coincidental, so everytime there is a squad bug i m gonna get kicked, or acommander bug, i get kicked... You have played in my squad as well as some of the other admins, and you all should know i dont cheat, glitch or anything that will ruin the game.. Now im not saying that you kicked me PHX, but you did answer my last post, so i figured you might read this one as well...

I am to blame for this, Foxeye , and I apologize. I can promise that it won't happen again.

Here is the deal. There seems to be something coincidental going on between you and the Command Bug....at least it seems that way. The first time you were kicked (weeks ago), the Command Bug was gone as soon as you were. So we tried it again......and again, it worked. As you are fully aware of, we have removed you a few times, but with varying results....usually it works, but sometimes it doesn't. The Admins have been pulling their hair out trying to figure out why removing you (and only you) seems to fix the Bug. If we truly believed that this was something in your control (as in a hack), you would be long gone......but we don't think you are. That is why I authorized the Admins to attempt to remove you (kicking, but certainly not banning) to not only fix the bug, but figure out why it only seems to be you that affects the Command Bug.

We just want what's best for the server. If it were one of the Admins that was having this issue, they would be removing themselves...however, they would have the luxury of knowing what was going on....a luxury that you weren't afforded. Please accept my apologies, and know that it won't be happening again. I have told my Admins that removing you is no longer an option.....we haven't proven anything, and we certainly understand your frustration and anger. I also want to thank you for your patience with this....I can tell you that you have handled this much better than many of us would.

As long as we are here, and all of our cards are on the table.....could I ask you for a favor? Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling/patching your game? I have no idea if this will do anything, but then again, I have no idea why this is happening in the first place. There must be something funky with EA's coding (imagine that), and we are hoping that having you reinstall your game may fix whatever it is that is obviously causing this. Who knows.....it's worth a shot anyway.

Also, we have noticed that you load the game very quickly, and you seem to create a squad very quickly. We would ask you to wait until the timer starts to create your squad. Sometimes, creating a squad early has been synonymous with the squad and command bugs (again, thank you EA). So, in short (after this wall-o-text) we would ask that you try reinstalling, and waiting a few seconds (just until the timer starts) before creating a squad.

Again....I personally apologize to you on behalf of myself, and my Admins. We are convinced that you are just as much a victim of this as the server is, and we just want to figure out why this is happening, so that in the future, it doesn't happen again. Please understand that this is certainly nothing personal, and we realize that you are not doing anything to cause this.

Thanks for the explanation Dex, its no problem, being a former admin i completely understand what has to be done... I also noticed i was kicked while in a chopeer tearing it up as well, lol, but its all good... I have a super fast computer with 6 gigs of ram, that is why i can load so fast, i also have a 1.5 terrabit harddrive, so that may be why i load very quickly... I also just make a squad as soon as i join the server, or join a squad... But i can wait until the timer runs out... I also noticed that i sometimes have just stayed in a squad when the next map starts, dont know why... I recently reloaded BF2 cause i burned my motherboard out and replaced it, so when that happened i reinstalled the game, after reformating my system... I had to do it anyway... I know your job is not easy and i have to say other than 2 of the other admins that i spoke to, this was a very nice post by you, and im glad at least there are some admins who take the time out to explain their reasonings... thanks again DEX, have a happy Thanksgiving, see you soon...

Also no reason for me to lose my cool, just was frustrated and annoyed, thats all, im sure you understand... I will try again to reininstall it, but i also have been getting a error reading to server or something like that upon loading the game, freaking EA sucks.. Anyway thanks again...

No problem at all....We are all truly sorry for this, and we are glad you understand our frustration, as we understand yours.

And just for clarity, there is no need for you to wait until the timer runs out....just wait till the timer starts. I too have a quick machine (as well as a few others around here), and one thing we have noticed is that with the faster machines, often we can load the maps before the server finishes switching the teams and the timer even starts. You can see the squads from the other team (briefly), and if you try and create a squad before the server finishes doing the team swap, it has been known to cause issues with the squads and the Commander seat. So all we ask is that you be sure the 45 second countdown timer starts....no need to let it get all the way down.

And yes....EA sucks. They have been having issues all week with their master servers, and it has affected not only BF2, but 2142 and PR as well.
