[Entry] Supreme Commander
Supreme Commander is a Real Time Strategy designed by Chris Taylor and was released for the PC in February 2007.
Game Outline:
There are three factions: the United Earth Federation, the Cybran Nation, and the Aeon Illuminate. Each has unique units to command, and it own "experimental units". There are 3 tech levels, and a special tech level 4 for the experimental units. They differ for each faction, but all are very destructive, and can often turn the tide of a battle, as they are difficult to destroy.
Every army is led by the Armoured Command Unit. This is the centrepiece to your army and is the most important unit on the battlefield. The ACU can be upgraded to improve its firepower, building capability, and its armour.
I think it is worthy of GotY because of the limitless strategic possibilities and the detailed storyline.
And there you have it. It is a highly awesome game and I think it deserves to reach the top 10. :Y:

It played fine on a 40x40km map, even up to the end. Everything was on high except textures and full screen AA
As far as game of the year, I don't know. Maybe best RTS of the year.
