Well I havent been all to active lately and that is hopefully going to get better.

I have been consumed by a lot of issues going on lately. Work, family stuff and lastly my health.

For work I sell for a Asian electronics company and the year end gets very busy. But most of the things people need are on order and this will slow down.

As for the family everyone is doing great and the kids school is a lot busier this year now that both go full days. My son is in 1st grade and daughter is in 3rd. Plus they seem to be in every after school activity you can think of.

On a very sad note a dog that I got from the pound 10 yrs ago and then he went to stay at my mothers had to be put down this week. He was a big rotti/lab cross and his body wore out to the point he could not stand any longer. It really tore up all of us to make this decision but it was the right one to make. My brother Dragon was especially upset by this and he was with him till the end. My bro is a lot stronger then me on this due to i don't think I would be able to hold it together.

And lastly my health....turns out my blood pressure is way out of wack along with my cholesterol. My BP runs 160/112 and cholesterol is 35 Hdl and 191 Ldl. Had a stress test and echo cardio and the heart looks good so now its a matter of getting the BP down and cholesterol down. Man they are talking a lot of meds! Im on 1 for the cholestorol and 2 for the BP but they are going to add one more for each. That means 5 pills a day :nuts:. The good thing is when I turn 42 this January I know ill be around for a few more to come...

Cholesterol; is that not just diet related? I figured mine was up so istopped eating sausages and eggs. Felt so much healthier with a change of diet.

Biteme, do you eat oatmeal? Eat that every morning and cut out the bad foods for a while and more importantly, exercise!

I know how it feels to have to put down your best friend, I've been there as well, right to the end. It's something that will never ever leave you.

ptth, you should see his spiked collar I made (3/4 hex spots with 1" spikes) dashing but when he gave you that 'loving head rub' he'd gouge ya.
