Thread: Banned.. why?

Loco-Raider, and Ninjabearsuey,

Since you are both new to the forums, I will give you both this one warning. Unless you are a direct witness to the event, or the admin in question, please, DO NOT post in the banned forums for another individual.

This is your only warning, next time, you will see a 3 day ban from the website.

I am your banning admin, after some talk about you in the admin forums it was decided to add your name to the banned list.

Take a look at your chat log (which you can find under the stats tab at the top of the forums), and tell me why you think you got banned.

I would have been nice to be warned, which I never was. And I do not see anything that warrants a ban in my chat logs. Unless it's for calling out the admins, which I will do since I'm in an administrative position at my job and I know how to run things properly.

Let me reference a couple things since apparently you couldn't find it in your chat logs.

You should have been banned a long time ago, some how you skated through unseen. Telling the admin FU, and challenging an admins decisions in-game is completely ban worthy. Should you have been warned first, absolutely not. You act immature your going to be taken out of the servers like every other piece of trash thats been banned from these servers the past 6 years. TPG is standing as strong as ever because our regs know we don't take kindly to disrespect, or challenging authority. This is not your playground, it is our home, we manage it, and we provide it to you as a place to play. We make the rules and you either abide by them or you get shown the door.

Calling out an admin is a banable offense as well, we prefer to stay anonymous so we can take trash like you off the servers. You slipped through the cracks but it was only a matter of time before we caught you.

So tell me this, since your in administration yourself. Do you think now that your ban was just, and that you deserved what was coming to you? Im pretty sure that someone coming in your home, your place with your friends/ clan mates telling you to fuck off, and challenging every move you made wouldn't warrant you to take action?

Oh, and one other thing. You may want to change your attitude, show some maturity in your responses. Remember, IF..... this goes to a vote, you will have to convince the whole admin staff that you deserve another chance.

I think some of those lines are taken out of context as to what was going on... like I think the "fu admin" was in response to me being slayed on accident. Most of those were also in regard to admins messing with teams when they don't need them (3-4 rounds into a map) and then when they do need them (one team is up 12-2) they don't do anything.

I also would prefer someone to call me out if I am not doing my job correctly. Because in my line of duty, if I am leading incorrectly or doing my job sub-par, it has a possibility of casuing people their lives. That way I have an idea of what I am doing wrong, see it from other people's perspectives, and fixing my problem if need be. I did not get to where I am by doing the whole "shut up and color" spiel... I don't do it in the military, and I am damn well not going to do it on a internet game server.

But it doesn't matter, I deploy in a few weeks for 6 months. The servers and the way you run them are a good idea, the admins and way they treat their "regs" is a disappointment. The game is meant to be fun, which seems like is not allowed here.

No, you are wrong. The way the servers are run is why they have been up constantly since 2005. You do not have a constant growing player base if you are running your server improperly. Why would our "regs" stick around here if we just let players do as they please on the servers?

Even if your slay was on accident, you don't tell the admin FU. You wouldn't tell your commanding officer FU if he was wrong about something he did. You also wouldn't challenge every move he made, constantly bitching about what he was doing. In here, you come to the forums, you ask why such and such was done, or why teams were getting messed up and stacked. You do it in the forums in a mature manner where we can sit down and talk about it, get it resolved so it doesn't happen again.

You can't see your wrong doings so this isn't going to a vote anyway. Good luck on your deployment.

We'll give you a vote. But before we do you've got to realize why you were banned and take responsibility for it. Telling an admin FU is a slap in the face and disrespectful whether it was on purpose or an accident. Over the years hundreds have been banned for challenging an admin decisions in game. If you've got a problem with the way things were done come to the forums were we can discuss it/ make changes if need be.
