L4D2/CSS Ban: Reverend Blesus

#1. Why do you think you got banned?

For not displaying enough recognition as to the call.

#2. What server were you on? What admin do you believe banned you? What admins were there playing?

TPG L4D2. Morningfrost. Not sure as to everyone's status in the hierarchy.

#3. Why should you be unbanned?

I feel that I was not allowed enough of a chance, from an objective standpoint, in which to show a progressive understanding as to the games requirements. Secondly, will the ban from L4D2 impact CSS or was that an unintended result?

#4. A written statement that you will refrain from doing anything that will get you banned again.

I promise to show better skills at maintaining my status within the group perimeter.

#5. Failure to address all of the above questions clearly will result in your post being locked and/or your unban request to go unprocessed. If you don't care, we don't care.

#6. If your ban is sustained (upheld by the voting admins), you will have to wait at least 30 days before any additional request to be "unbanned" can be accepted.

Hello Rev, I am your banning admin. We have had many complaints about you not staying with your team and not following the calls on the SI hits. I witnessed this first hand as well. This game isn't like Counter Strike. Every man counts on L4D2.
You have a shot caller on your team just like you would on the T side in CSS. You must follow the calls made.

Whatever it may take for you to get better at staying with your team you need to get on the ball with it.
I have recently talked to you about this before your ban. You assured me that you will do a better job. Yet since our talk the complaints increased. If we unban you how can we be sure you will play as a teamplayer? I will wait for your response before starting a vote. You will also need to post your Steam ID.

I understand fully the frustration felt from those who are much more accustomed to the intricacies of the game which, as I have come to understand over the past month and a half, are must more demanding on the individual than represented in other games. In regards to the increase in the amount of complaints, I feel that there is an all too pervasive tendency to make a more detailed note of those things I am in offense of than to place them in the context of the whole. I feel there has been much helpful assistance I have received and believe that the continuation of such, with not only myself but others, will make the community of players all that much more dedicated and capable.

In reply to your OP, if you're banned in one Source game, you're banned in all Source games we host, so thats why this ban would carry over into CSS.

Of course players have made a note of it. It also continued. Do you not remember our steam message convo? You assured me it wouldn't happen again. You must convince the Left for Dead admins that this will not continue if you want to play here. So convince me to give you a vote.

There is little I can do from the vantage of not being able to express my understanding through action. All I can do is say that I better understand the seriousness with which you all attribute to this game and will raise my level of awareness so as to not hinder your expectations while playing.
