Banned CSS

Hi, I was banned from your server quite some time ago now and i would like to request being unbanned.

1. Like i said this was some time ago, at least many months. I remember playing in your server very frequently and never having a problem. I honestly have no idea what i did to get banned. I don't believe I was ever disrespectful to anyone and I know I followed the strats fine. If someone does remember me and remember why they banned me I would love to know to refrain from doing it again.

2. Again it was very long ago so i don't remember what admins were there or who banned me or even which one of the servers i was in. I'm sorry I can't be more detailed. My steam ID is STEAM_0:1:3793771

3. I should be unbanned because I never meant to do anything that would offend or anger anyone in the server. I'm there to have fun like everybody else. Plus i thoroughly enjoy playing in your servers because you know everyone there is there to play and not mess around.

4. If you unban me I will refrain from doing anything against the rules again. Like i said i play to have fun and be serious. I'm sorry if i offended anyone in your servers.

Anyone gonna be able to help this guy? He's a friend of mine and I've been wanting to play with him on your servers but we can't due to the ban. I know it's a busy time with the holidays coming up but if he could just get some sort of response it would appreciated, thanks. I can vouch that he has always played by the rules (not that my word means much) but I honestly think he may have been banned accidentally.

Catalyst has a VAC ban on record, and per TPG rules:

In the event that your account is banned by VAC, Punk Buster, or any other third party software installed on our servers, you will be required to appeal to those developers. Only then, if your ban is lifted you will be granted an appeal and be required to submit an unban request in the banned forums. If you are not able to resolve this issue with those developers, you are to remain banned from all TPG property indefinitely. TPG has zero tolerance for people that choose to cheat.

Your absolutely right i do have a vac ban on record from well over 5 years ago. but its for counter-strike condition zero. vac bans dont extend over from other valve games so i dont see why that should matter when im coming to you asking to be unbanned from css. I played in your server for months and that was well after my vac ban from condition zero. so someone banned me for other reasons and thats why im here asking for a repeal. please look more into this because i know i was not banned from your server due to vac

The reason you were banned is because you have a VAC ban, doesn't matter what game its from nor how long ago it was issued.

VAC/PB/or any other 3rd party ban we utilize on our servers = ban on ALL TPG servers

It was brought to the admins attention that you had a VAC ban on file, so we manually added it to the ban list to our servers.

Once you get the VAC ban cleared through that developer, then we will issue a vote on your unban.

Sorry, but that's TPG Policy, period.

So is making a new account and re-buying the game my only option at this point to being able to play on your servers? because vac will not lift a ban for any reason as far as im concerned. You make it sound like there is a possibility of getting it appealed but i've never heard of such a thing

VAC has lifted bans before, but like you said, it rarely happens.

If you try and circumvent the ban (getting new SteamID or re-purchasing the game), we will ban that account as well (when we find it, and we will.. people try it all the time). I'm sorry man, but it's TPG policy.

First im not gonna re buy the game for one server either way. but if i do decide to there's no way you could find out. unless im stupid enough to use the same name or you know my voice or something. thats the whole idea behind having another steam is its a whole new account. how coud you possibly know. second valve straight up says on there website the only thing to do is make a new account and re buy the game. I understand that its your TPG policy but thats just stupid. If valve and vac allow me to re buy and play who are you to say that i dont have the right to play even after re buying the game. the punishment for cheating is permanent ban on that account NOT a permanent ban on a PC Ip or something like that. so in this situation you are wrong and there is nothing you can do to stop me from playing on your server if i decide to re buy the game. unless of course i do something stupid to deserve a ban. Im sorry for disrespecting you in your own forum but good luck stopping me if i decide to re buy ;)
