PuGs!!!
Who would be interested in getting something like this started in CS:GO. At the very least it would be a good way to test out some maps.
Here's the plan from my PoV, get 20 people to show up pick 2 captains and then have a no scope fight or something like that in mid to decide who picks player or side first. The scoring would be both sides would play first to 15 wins and in the end the team with the most wins total would win.
I'm not a CS guy really so pick these apart, this is just a quick take from the DoD:S setup.
Just post if you're interested or have a problem with the format.

Re: PuGs!!!
It's really hard to do a 10v10 pug in CS, actually it would be almost the same as actually playing in the TPG servers, and doing this will empty the public servers until we all go back to them tbh :P. I rather do 5v5's, but if we have enough people interested in doing 10v10s with more communication and more competitively than on the servers then I will gladly participate.
I recommend starting a TPG GO PUG steam group for now or something, see how many people get involved and go from there.

Re: PuGs!!!
Hey, that's what this thread is here for, for you all to tell me I'm stupid because I don't know this stuff because I don't play CS.
Is there a number over 5v5 that might work with in a PuG format?Mr_Blonde_OPS liked this post

Re: PuGs!!!
Well, 5v5 is the default for any competitive CS match. However, it is possible to do a pug with more people (10v10 would be the max imo, but anything between 5-10 per team will work as long as all the players know each other and understand it is a competitive pug, like tpg regs). The TPG servers are basically organized pugs because we will have callers on T side most of the time as well as CT's that communicate, that is why I said anything over 5v5 is possible if all the players can act like our regulars and communicate. Again, I think we just need to see how many people will get involved in these pugs or the tournament Affinity is talking about and go from there, if we only get 20 people interested, 4 teams of 5 will work best.

Re: PuGs!!!
Ok, we'll see. I'm just suggesting this to be something just to get everything ready server and media side for a tourney, as it's pretty much just a show up quick game so less organizing that's mostly the reason I'm bringing up doing PuGs instead of something else.
So other than the size I put any other problems jump out at you?
Also would we want to limit anything?
