CS:GO 5v5 Draft Tournament 2013!(Sign-ups and Information)

A few of us have been talking, and it's about time for a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. Affinity and I have been collaborating, and feel since last years Draft-Style Tournament was so successful, we would like to do it again! What is a Draft-Style Tournament you ask? Simple, anyone who wants to participate will sign up, and names will go into a pool. A select few will be captains(volunteers or voted upon), and in Snake-Order(1-8; 8-1), the captains will draft players via registered participants. Anyone who would like to participate may sign up simply by replying to this thread like so:

-Name: Your ingame name/handle
-Captain: If you would like to be a captain, put a "Y", if not, put a "N", if you don't care or aren't sure put a "?". Putting a "Y" does not guarantee you a captain slot. Depending on how many we have, they will be voted upon by the community "?" people will be voted upon if we are short captains.
-Reason: Why should you be picked?!(optional)

We will be having the draft LIVE via TeamSpeak and Excel! Just like last year, there will be a live webpage with a spreadsheet loaded, anyone interest may tune into our live TeamSpeak channel to listen and watch the draft transactions happen right before your eyes.

Info:
-What: A TPG Counter-Strike: Global Offensive 5v5 Double-Elimination Draft Tournament(Bracket Style)
-Who: This tournament is open to anyone, all you need to do is have a forum account and sign up! You must register yourself.
-When: Sign-Ups will close Saturday, Feb 9th; and the Draft will be held Sunday, Feb 10th approximately 3PM CST. The first week of the tournament will start Saturday, Feb 16th!
-Where: All matches will be played on TPG's Private servers. Spectators will be allowed. All matches will be recorded and Live Commentary will be provided with special thanks to our professional media crew.

Specifications:
-This event will be all weapons/equipment.
-AWP/Autos will be limited 1 per team.
-Flames will be limited to 1 per team.
-This Tournament is just for fun, with a touch of competition on the side. So be courteous, we're all family.
-Tournament will be played Double-Elimination Bracket Style.
-Teams will consist of 8 players, 3 alternate/backup players in order to help with scheduling.
-There will be one match a week per team. Each week will have different maps.
-Match weeks will start on Monday and end on Sunday. Times for matches will be scheduled by the each teams leader using CST. Rescheduling is always an option as long as its within the week time frame. If both teams cannot agree on a time they will both get a forfeit loss. Two forfeit losses and you are bumped from the tournament.
-A thread will be made for each match, which will be used for teams to communicate and schedule their matches. There will also be thread for Server Usage, when teams agree on a time/date they need to post in order to prevent teams from scheduling at the same time. Check the Server Usage thread to make sure someone hasn't already reserved their time slot.

Basics:
-$800 startmoney like normal.
-15 rounds per side(30 total, first to 16 wins)
- Round Time is 1:45
- Freeze Time is 15 seconds.
-Team spectator mode only.
-Substitutions may be made durring a match, the person leaving must fully disconnect from the server before the substitute may connect. If a team has 6 or more connected at one time, they will forfeit every round until only 5 are connected. Only players from their roster may participate in the match, otherwise they will be disqualified.
-Only 1 substitution may be made per half. Swapping players at Half-Time does not count towards a substitution.
-If a player disconnects durring a match, continue gameplay like normal until they reconnect or a substitute replaces them. No pauses or timeouts will be given.
-Teams are alloted a 5 min break at half.
-Ventrilo/Mumble/TeamSpeak is allowed, if you do not have a server and would like one, let us know.
-A single person may only be on ONE team.
-At the start of the tournament, matches will be randomized. Each match will have a Home and Away team. For each match/week to be played, 2 maps will be given, 1 map will be selected. The Home team can either pick which map to play, or choose which side to play first(T or CT). The Away team will get to pick whichever the Home team didn't. For ex. Week 1 may have de_dust2 and de_train. If the Home team picks which map to play, the Away team can choose which side to play first. If the Home team picks to play CT or T first, then the Away team gets to pick the map.
-All other TPG Rules apply.

Overtime:
-OT will be played immediately following the scheduled match, allowing a 10 min break. League OT rules will apply. Teams will remain on the same side they finished on, ot.cfg will be executed, $10k startmoney, best of 6 rounds, 3 rounds each side(swap after first 3). Replay the same League overtime rules until a victor is determined.

BEFORE signing up, you must read and comply with the rules of this tournament. Knowing that this is a draft tournament, you have the chance of being with a group of players who you have never played with before. If you refuse to participate because you get stuck on a team you do not like, or go inactive durring the tournament, you will not receive any prizes that your team may receive, and the reputation you don't already have will plummet ever so drastically. There will be prizes given to ALL participants. So even if your team isn't the best, you will still receive some sort of prize for participation. So if you think you might be one of these players, aka a non-team player, then this tournament is not for you. I hear The Sims is having an epic Steam sale.

Week 7(Championship) - This week will be best 2 out of 3. Each team will get to pick an approved tournament map they have not played yet in the tournament. The opposing team will choose which side to play. The community will choose a 3rd map if it becomes a tie. The undefeated team going into the championship will get to choose which side to play first.

Teams:
-In order for a 5v5 tournament, we need a minimum of 32 participants to enable 4 teams of 8.
-In an increase of 8 participants will enable an additional team. 64 participants will equal 8 teams.
-There is no limitations to participants; however, we must have and equal number of participants for even teams. First come first serve. Which means if there are 65 participants, you being the 65th, the cut off would be at 64. 87 participants, the cutoff would be at 80, etc.
-My advice so that this doesn't happen you, sign up now!
