...Or you know, you could just play a different game this weekend...or go outside and play in the snow or something...daylight is always good.
No one is holding a gun to your head saying
"You WILL play will l4d2 with the silver members this weekend."
and if someone is, well thats your problem.
Its not like the people playing are going to be COMPLETELY new to l4d2. I mean, they have it dont they? theyve probably conquered it on expert many times. They only thing is they probably wont be super amazing at playing as the infected.

OMFG ME TOO!! But you don't see me sat here groaning and bitching about new people being introduced to the online play for this game.
I think you're looking for any excuse to have your weekend gaming ruined. As for me, I'll be playing with Joe and Russell, along with a newb, this weekend if I can be bothered enough to even go near my xbox. If not then I'll be doing something else online.
Free weekend is not the end of the world. Find something else to do, if its THAT much of a problem...seriously....
Like LP and myself said: Get yourself outside, air is good for you. Take a walk, go socialize at the mall, get laid. Whatever it takes to get you up off your ass and moving since you CLEARLY will die if you play with new players this weekend.

All ya gotta do is adapt. When I'm playin with experienced players I stick up front and take the lead cuz i know they will cover my back and not shoot my anus. But when I'm with noobs I stick to the rear and cover 6 o'clock cuz they can rain bullets, get swarmed, and do noobie-experiments while i just pick off the ones that try to sneak up from behind or down the noobs. There's no way i will play up front or lead cuz I just keep getting shot from behind.
