    i was talking about the dll files that you get when you update the game after it is install you know like engine.dll and the l4d.exe stuff like that.

    I would if I knew what the files were... steam just updates the files it's not like WoW where it downloads a patcher and then runs the patcher. Also the fact that it spreads them out over 50 or so folders is problematic.
