    Stuck at Loading Screen

    So I just bought the game today and installed. Launched the game, watched the beginning cinematic (everything is working fine) ,but once the movie is over and it comes to the main menu it gets stuck at "loading" and does absolutely nothing and locks up my computer. Now when steam was updating the game my modem did reset so i had to redo the update if that's of any help.

    First thing to do is verify the local content.

    In The Steam "My Games" (tab) > r. click on Left 4 Dead > properties > local files (tab) > Click "Verify integrity of game cache..."
