Seriously, why is Valve so obsessed with Gnome Chompski? They are even making mutations centered on him now. Why do they act like he has a conscious or something? Valve has got to stop using him for everything.

When l4d2 came out, I was so excited. But the minute I started playing, I was annoyed by Rochelle. She seems to be hated by almost everyone. Nerds especially hate her because they think Valve is trying to get rid of Zoey. But here are my personal reasons why Rochelle is annoying:
1. Her voice. Seriously, she screams non-stop, and her voice is like nails on a chalkboard.
2. Her bot. Considering no one plays Rochelle, she is usually the bot. This is a huge problem. EVERY GODDAMN TIME YOU ARE SHOOTING, Rochelle will run infront of you, (and scream in her annoying voice) that it was YOUR fault you shot her.
3. Her attitude. I mean, she acts like a bitch 24/7. And when some one dies i.e. Coach or Nick, she acts like she doesn't care at all. These are the people trying to keep her alive, god dammit!
4. The fact that she is so bland and boring.
In my opinion, Rochelle is the worst thing in L4D. Coach should teach her a lesson and beat dat ass.

Well, I'm not sure why you double posted about two different subjects. It would help to go CLICK HERE and search for other topics about Rochelle.

On your first subject. Valve only included him as a neat little reference to HL2 Episode 2, and as a way to get an achievement. Not too major, shouldn't bother you at all. Yes, they did make two mutations about him, but really, if you don't want to play them, why not just ignore them? There you go, the Gnome is no more.

Onto Rochelle, she's not that bad, I get tired of people complaining about her all the time. She doesn't scream all the time, quit being such an audiophile. It is stupid to assume she is "replacing" Zoey since the L4D1 campaigns are coming to L4D2 anyway, and you can play either set of campaigns to play the survivor group you want. If you want Zoey, play a L4D1 campaign. Otherwise, find one of the existing Rochelle hate topics. In fact, I will link you to some-

The gnome is good for a little light comic relief, but he's easy to ignore so i'm not sure why you're complaining about him. As for the Mutations then they're easy to ignore too.

And Rochelle isn't that bad, yes she's annoying but she's not worth shooting someone over, the Survivors are just cosmetic anyway, so whoever you play won't effect the game.

I have no idea why, but in Versus matches in DaCa2, I always get the gnome, even if I have to play the game. I don't know why. It just adds a little fun to the game when you beat a hunter or jockey to death with a piece of plastic.

If you don't like the gnome, just ignore it. You don't have to get it, unless you want the achievement for it, otherwise, ignore the gnome and just carry on.

And Rochelle's not bad, she's not good, but not bad. I don't see alot of people targetting her in fights unless they have something with the player, otherwise, she's a decent person. I don't like her, but I don't hate her. =/
