I remember War of the Monsters. God, that used to be the only game I'd play and I never looked at another game for months.

All the different monster selections, the mechanical ape, the giant tiki statue, the four armed lava creature, the fifty foot alien invader, the robots, the cyclops with a body made entirely of electricity...

And THEN there's the bosses. I can't say how many times I fought them, especially Cerebulon. They were just so damn fun.

Unfortunately no. My PS2 suffered from Console Dementia a while back and refused to read any discs I put in.

It is a game I'd like to go back to though.

that's bad. my first ps2 had the same problem and recently got new one, but out of 3controllers, none works well. Everything goes crazy but I still manage to use it somehow.
