Ahh. Well regardless of my example, the demo should be restricted...no?

It should be what the two teams agree on for the match. This isn't CAL or CEVO, this is TTP.

Eh, demo stickies disappear when they die. Just send a spy in.

They're called "priority targets" for a reason.

Yes, I agree with the restriction.

True, but if we want to use these situations for practice for a CAL or CEVO match then it makes sense to use the rules these organizations use.

But yes, Rules should always be solidified in any game before you play.

Yes, I know this isn't cevo, but TF2 isn't as much of a difference between TTP and Competition as CS:S and CAL is.

    CS:S Rules-TTP
    Startmoney: $800
    Playtime: 3:00
Weapon Restriction: AWP/Auto at admin discretion
Maps: Any stock maps, and approved customs.
    Glitches/Exploits: Bannable Offense

    CAL Rules
    Startmoney: 16000
    Playtime: 1:20
    Weapon Restriction: None
Maps: de_only, only those in the CAL season lineup.
Glitches/Exploits: Everything except flashjumps and illegal defuses.

    That is a huge difference.

TF2 does not have that insanely strict rule set. The CEVO rules are simply made to comfort match play.

If the rules are normal, then is it a scrim? Or is it two clans in a pub?

Like I said - the problem last night wasnt BigTex being dicks, or Killers being dicks...it was miscommunication. The wiener-waving started after the first map was over and we "discussed" the situation.

I believe I can speak for the Killers here when I say that we view scrims as practice for bigger competitive leagues, hence our desire to adhere to the established rules OF those leagues.

I don't know what BigTex wants to scrim for - maybe bragging rights or just shits and giggles, but regardless - it should have been more clear before we started.

    Lesson learned.

    Can we lock this mofo?
