No offense to Civilwarts or his cheerleader, supercarl, but we're going up against guys that have been playing the game since it came out. Civil has about 32 hours of command time... I think we need more experience on that seat. Mabell has well over 100 hours and 25,000 points as commander, I think he's a better candidate (basing it off on experience).

We only have 3 applicants for that job, we need to see if we can get some more people interested. It's a vital position.

I agree with the above statement. Also, SL should be held to some accountability too.

Far be it from me to deny what would be best for the team. If you all really want me I would be honored to continue commanding.

However, not to sound....however, I don't want to command if people are only going to be thinking throughout the whole round(s), 'Jeez, this sure would be different if Xav were commanding, or even Civil. MaBell just doesn't know what the hell he's talking about so I'm just gonna do what I think needs to be done.' And I most CERTAINLY don't want to have to see messages at the end of the total match that say, 'Well, jeez, we didn't have the commander that we REALLY wanted, otherwise it would have turned out differently, our commander sucked.'

To me, thoughts and comments like those only tell me that someone's best effort wasn't put forth in the first place. And that's about as defeatist as you can get.

Additionally, I can make whatever practices/matches that come up, as I'm quite sure you all know why.

F-U Xav, you can't even command your way out of the banana fields.

Just kidding. I could care less who the commander is to be honest, but here is why I volunteered. While I may not have the most experience I know how to command. More importantly I know how to set strats that work, then get out of the way of competent SLs. I am not going to be on the mic telling guys like Kel, Jeep, either manno, Chosen, or anyone else that knows how to play the game where to go every minute of the battle. If you have been an SL while I am commanding you will know I provide assets and vital info. I am not going to tell the SLs that 4 guys are at West Oil when we have no players within 100 miles.

The other issue I see and hear from the previous match is that we either had no strategy, or 12 strategies. As stated i feel confident in my ability to come up with a good plan, strong willed enough to enforce it, yet smart enough to know when to go to plan B, C, D...

All that being said I support the idea of whomever has interest applying, then the whole team votes for their choice. I like the idea of applications ending on the 3rd, so you have until then. At that point I will start a 5 day vote.
