Thread: Week 1 Predictions

This is to piggy back off of BlackJaguar's threads, just a little more specific. What is everyones predictions for the final week 1 matches?

Teams left are:

N2P vs dB4d(1): I think N2P and CK have a lot of skill to offer, but they are struggling with active members so I think that will throw them off a bit this week, but a force to be reckoned with later on. dB4d is a very underrated team as well.

{BD} vs [STH]: I think will be a VERY close match, equally skilled players on both teams at all ranges. But in the end, I see STH coming out on top, maybe by 1 round. Magus with his shotty = beast mode.

TST vs {BF}: I think BF has the home court advantage on this one. No one really knows was TST has to offer, but I have a feeling the force will be with BF this time. They have the old school TPG style advantage for this match.

=(SlaB)= vs tCz: Another GREAT matchup, and hard to decide. SlaB has a lot of young skill, with kokes and j-rag on the same team... will be VERY hard to stop. On the other hand, tCz has been around the block a few times, also with a LOT of skill. With tCz's teamwork and team experience as a whole, I think they will barely slide out on top.

EXIMIUS will receive a F win over iK, regardless I think EX would have took the lead early in the game. I will go in depth more with Week 2 predictions.

FA #2 vs <DQ>: I think FA #2 will put up a damn good fight, but the shear skill, talent, experience, and handsomeness that DQ has to offer is unstoppable

dB4d vs pd Beasts: Yet another tremendous matchup. pd and dB4d have a very good history together, have been scrim partners for years. Both have came out on top in several occasions. Being leader of pd myself, I am trying to give the least biased opinion as possible, but I honestly see pd winning this one by 2-3 rounds. Still a very close match. Much love to dB4d, as they always put up a great match.

Cartoonland// vs OgX: With Cartoonland being a TF2 team, but consisting of old school cs players, this game is nothing new to them. I think they will do pretty well in the tournament, and could easily compete with some of the top contending teams. However, OgX with D23 on their shoulders will be tough to beat. Mafioso and Shakespeare are right up there as well. I see OgX taking this by about 5-6 rounds. Consider this a warmup for Cartoonland, they will turn heads up the bracket, just wait

DoD vs QQ: QQ being a free agent team, has a good amount of skill, at the cost of an inactive player, and one who is moving this week so he wont be available until week 2. QQ at full strength could put up a good fight, but I don't think it would be enough to overpower the all-around talent that DoD brings to the table. DoD out on top regardless. QQ will also do well up the bracket once at full strength, so don't underestimate them, or they will rape your face.

Good predictions. I like seeing specifics. I do think that {BD} will win their game tonight. I think that is going to be the game of the day, I'm for sure going to watch it.
