UT4 Fall Patch

OMG this update is sooo good! I patched, logged in, hit "Play CTF" and it dropped me in a full server! Textures look ballin', animations are all coming together, levels look incredible, weapons feel nice, and there's TONS of player stat tracking and a light-weight leveling system.

The game is looking really stellar for still being in the Pre-Alpha stage of the dev process. Give it a try, I'm likely going to be playing this one a lot more in the coming days

Does it crash every 5 minutes still? I am getting excited about this one for sure.

Nope. I played like 3-4 15 minute matches straight without a single crash or anything. And you can set up framerate smoothing in addition to vsync if you want, but if you're on gsync it's unnecessary

Yea, I was planning on running this update for us here shortly. Expect to see something on the TPG front here in the next day or so.

Yuss! This is definitely the type of game you can quickly hop on and play a few rounds when you don't have a lot of time, as well as marathon play a bunch of games in a row. I'll be playing a bunch

Ahhhh IT'S SO GOOD! Gonna have to have some TPG frag-nights up in here soon. I had to go to the European servers just now to find one with players. Even on EU servers I was still getting decent ping. The game runs so much better these days. Even the AI is fun to play against (I didn't even know some of the players were AI for a few minutes until looking at the scoreboard. - makes priming not as bad)

I played some last night - here's a match I recorded on one of the new maps "Chill". It's pretty good and looks great.

I think I still like Outpost 23 better though as a DM map - here's some footage I captured from that one as well.
