Not to hijack your topic, but a friend of a friend has a condo on/near the beach, so we are going to see when we might be able to use it. I will let you/everyone know what weekend we are going, and see what we might be able to throw together.

yeah we do. Though there's a pool in the community about half a block away so we might wait on that or not do it at all and keep the space for backyard patio/bbq/party and big dogs.

There's a HOA yes. But the decent thing is that the maintenance fee is one of the lowest I've seen of all the houses we've looked at. And the HOA is not owned/run by the developer as this is an older development. But it's not a "community" in the sense of gated guardhouse thing with crazy rules. Seems like it's just there to maintain the pool area. \o/...

Don't like HOA, personally, hopefully this one keeps itself to itself. Time will tell.
