Well my wife's water broke at midnight. We were not prepared at all! I mean we had the baby's bag ready but not my wife's. So I was running around the house trying to find a backpack to shove anything I thought of use into it.
She was doing really well, but on the drive to the hospital she started having contractions and it went down hill from there. lol
First off, they didn't check to see how far dilated she was. That pissed me off. They kept pushing it back saying we'll do it later. Then about five in the morning she had the urge to push. So I ran out the door got a nurse, she checked really quick and she went out the door and came back with the OB. He checked and then the room turned into a circus. Carts being ruled in and stuff. So finally my wife had to give birth without an epidural. Talk about a pissed of woman. But I'm proud of her. She did it. I can't say with grace but she did it!
And now I have a beautiful 7 lbs and 6 oz daughter who is 21 inches long.

And her name is Katelyn.

I'm at home right now while a friend of hers is with her. I'm going to clean up the water in the bathroom and get her some dvd's to watch.
