Re: ::VTRX:: vs. 5th
i'd say that depends on the person.
Some people are slightly lactose intolerant, and so cheese and other dairy products can act as a... somewhat painful laxative.
Others well...
I like DJ's analogy about the two clans and their respective engines.
On the one hand the Gas Turbine has a high power to weight ratio, making it smaller than an otherwise equally powerful engine would be. However they're not used as often as they could be because of problems with idling.
Where as the steam power plant is big, clunky, and might have an 8 year old boy working the release valve, but it brings the heat.

Yeah, the whole stalling thing...well, on the one hand LaTech can supply all of it's power needs and more, but occassionally there are rolling blackouts. With heat engines, the general efficiency used is thermal efficiency, which is equal to the energy put out divided by the energy put in. I believe GE uses them extensively on power plant farms in Texas. Sometimes I get lonely in the engineering classes when I realize I'm one of the few people who can derive the equations we use. A lot of engineers today just know how to plug and chug. Computers can do a lot of that work already, but seriously...
As for cheese, I can eat tons of that stuff. I love a good Roquefort, honey maple turkey, and dijon on rye or a French BLT (brie, french prosciutto, spinach, and tomatoe) or Brie on it's own or figs stuffed with Roquefort and baked in an oven. Damn you Belial, working your 5th mind tricks and making me hungry when I need to be applying wave equations to Maxwell's equations.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Re: ::VTRX:: vs. 5th
this is what we are proposing...
1 round Tunis. It is an equal push map
2 rounds Cebere. Odd numer is unfair
1 round Sidi/Shubia/tampa. These are fair rushes for silos. From both titans you can only reach 1 silo.
if we do 16 on 16...each clan can recruit who they would like to fill the spots.
as for time...figure tunis would be 1/2 hour (1 round), cebere 90 min (2 rounds), titan 30-45 min (1 round)
so 4 rounds...and about 2-1/2 hours...
