Thread: {HRD} & {frm} Confusion

There have been a few misconceptions about our tags, so we wanted to clear some things up. Most of you that know me know that I am a smart and cunning man, as stated by a few here on this forum. I am also honest as can be. Here is what we were thinking when we came up with our name and tags.

Our clan name is Honor, Respect, Duty. Our clan tag is {HRD}, and to make it easy to say, and to sound tough we call ourselves HARD. After we came up with this we liked the idea of an interim phase while trying to prove yourself worthy to be HARD. Much like steel goes through a high pressure and high heat process to become hard our recruits go through a similar trial. During this time they are firm, but not quite HARD enough. They are firm, as in stronger than most, but not HARD like us. To make it similar we dropped the I and came up with {frm}.

A few, maybe even many or all, have your minds in the gutter, and put some other spin on the words firm and hard, and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Do you really think that with the class we have in this clan that we would come up with something so crude and childish? Honestly, do you think any of us are really that smart? While I find it hilarious it is not what we intended.

I hope this clears up any confusion, and if you see any of our recruits on the battlefield feel free to offer them some Viagra.

I have made one such reference and I just want to make the members of {HRD} aware that it was all in good fun. As I'm sure you all know I respect each one of you, and enjoy playing with you all.


I got the {frm} to {HRD} reference, I understand where you are coming from. However, the phallic connotations are just too damn funny.

I always give the newbs a hard time, just a way to show some love, not in a FRM or HRD way.....sickos.
