Just out of interest, what level are you playing on?

This may sound a little strange but, I usually go right beside and crouch shoot her uterus and uncrouch, it somehow counts as a Cr0wn, and it can be in like 2 seconds, I find it to be the easiest way to cr0wn a witch, pump or auto, if you still wanna cr0wn a witch for the achievement, I hope this helps. It works from easy to advance difficulties, sometime works on expert.

Sometimes you got to take her out quick, especially on Expert, so how is that gonna help you? Just seems incredibly slow and unnessasary.
On all levels, if you hit that sweet spot, she`ll go down. As I said, it`s just a question of practice.

As for me I always bump into the witch before killing her. Thats how i learned to crown her. When im playing campaign i let the witch stand up and look me in the eyes before crowning her no matter the difficulty. It maybe incredibly slow and unnessasary, but when im playing campaign i like to play in a slow and unnessasary way. Im in no rush..

I really don't think theres ever a moment where a witch has to be taken out quick unless you're playing L4D2 and you have a witch in the middle of a rolling cresendo.

Mate, there is no such thing as an easy Witch kill on Expert level, that`s why it`s called Expert. It`s also why I asked what level you play at, as your method seems very dodgy.

even though the auto shotgun is quicker, it's only useful against the witch on expert if you mess up your shot(usually for witch hunting newbie which I awesome he his, non offensively of course) on due to lack of accuracy, the pump is more accurate, I cr0wned a witch that way, and I two shotted her that way, but the rest of the times, I ended up dead, but if you're skilled enough, the pump shot gun would be the best crowning weapon at any speed. Witches are indeed easy other than that

The only thing I find difficult about expert are the common zombies, scratching hunters and tanks. Least of my worries are witches. But thats just me.

I stand corrected. It seems you can crouch but he still had difficulty cr0wning from any other position but the front. On Expert, you get one chance
