Mardigan,

Thanks for taking the time to apply to HRD. I guess my question is do you truly want to join us, or are you just looking to join a clan? I am not trying to be rude with this statement, but I did notice your app to BigTex, and their response that you do not play many, if any, of the same games as them, and now I see your app for us. We are looking for players that have played with our members quite a bit to join us. What make you want to join us, and why do you bring to the table?

In addendum, please also understand that until you DO reach 50 posts, no vote can happen. This is a good time for you to seek us out in game and squad with us so we can get to know you. As well as answering the question Civil posed to you (and any others you may be asked).

Understand that most of us play vanilla. Some do play PR. ..well, ok, truth be told, many of us have caught the AIX bug... but you get my point

I want to join you guys because I like how you take it seriousley I like the teamplay , I am not joining BigTex because I would not be able to play with them as much because most of them play on steam which I dont have, I am looking for a clan but a good one and by the looks of it you guys look like a great one, and i just didn't randomely pick a clan I picked you because you guys look like a good clan you use squad play and you seem to be in order. I follow orders, TTP is preety much the only server I play one, I have not seen many {HRD} members on BF2 PR I hear your into vanilla, but ima check out the Regular BF2 servers and 2142 servers ( i have seen alot of {HRD} members on 2142) today to see if I can squad up with any of you guys.

Here are your stats. We have been discussing your application in our private forum. At this point most of us do not recall squadding with you, so while you are working on your post count also work on getting in a squad with any HRD members you can. Show us something, and we might show you something.

Thank's for applying in the correct format right away; it's a good sign. Also, thank you for your interest in the HRDest core group of BF2 addicts there is. As has been discussed, we would like to know about you a little more. Please squad up with as many HRD members as you can on Vanilla BF2 especially, but also any other fine teamplay game offered here. HRD plays many games, but our foundation lies in Vanilla BF2. As soon as your post count hits 50 we will launch a vote for your {frm} status. Take some time to get to know us on the battlefield.

Vanilla is the unmodfied BF2.. not PR, not AIX, not SF

A few of us play 2142, me, Vlade and Civil more than most.. lately I've not been on.. but I need to get back in there.. it used to kinda be my sunday thing

Same with PR, quite a few of us used be over there, but not lately, I think. Mostly we're on vanilla, although now that we've discovered the AIX mod, many of us are goin crazy for it.

...you should d/l it.. it's worth it!

the thing is my dad gets pissed when i download stuff, is this a game with millions of downloads for it and does it take alot of space because I took alot of it when I downloaded PR.

It's probably as big as PR. Theres 4 d/l's.. the client and then 3 map packs (there's a bunch more map pack, but the 3 are definate must)

They client takes a good bit of time to download unless you've got a connection on crack.
