    LMFAO...

CT to D/FW is a heck of a commute, unfortunately. Been a lot of years since I had a local group of DnD buddies. College, really. (Undergrad.) Great Sunday a.m. hung-over fun.

I haven't played DnD in a very long time... Back in Boyscouts (shut up!) we used to play a DnD/Star Frontiers blend (Star Frontiers was a futuristic role play game made by the same company as DnD).. was kinda fun killing aliens with swords and spells, or offing demons with a gattling gun or laser.

    Re: DnD

I am currently running a campaign in a world I have been desiging for the better part of my life; 22 out of 32 years.

We recently switched to 3.5 (yes I know 4 is about to come out but we wont switch).

http://not-your-base.com/oreth/ I recently built a blog for my campaign and have barely started adding stuff to it. As you can see, one of the players has started writing a book to chronicle their current adventures.

Anyone in the Portland Oregon area, greater northwest, or anywhere is welcome to jump in! I have been a DM for the better part of my adult life.

    I love me some D&D.

Thats right; brushed steel dice. I am the alpha nerd.

No no... Unless your dice are bronze or bone, and more than 1700 years old... *I* am the alpha nerd. I bought a set of bronze roman die from 300AD (give or take, of course) for my stat rolling dice.

6 sided roman die are pretty common, but far more expensive than what you'd spend at a chessex booth at gencon. They even had 4 siders (a bit more rare but you can get them) and I've also seen a 20 sider. The 20 sider was auctioned by Christies for around 14 grand though so I don't think I'll be getting one of those any time soon.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
