Calc III was the best.
On top of the Calc 1 to 4, my CS prgram also required discrete math, applied Linear Algebra, Statistics for Scientists and engineers, Discrete math 1 & 2, Differential equations, And a bunch of choose your own required credits in math.. I chose ring and field theory as well as Analysis...analysis is insane. But yeah, CS degree is super math intensive...

He scaled the grades 10 points more or less. I'm not complaining because a B+ is sweet.

Re: Take that Calc 2!
i covered those in calc 2...thats why i mentioned them?
Expansions are freaking amazing. *shows his math nerdness* When my professor expanded E^x i was like "omgwtflulz?", well not really, but i was really just struck by how powerful calculus was at that point.
Did you do error analysis in calc 2? Euler's, etc.?

My calc III was nothing but series and sequences and then expansions followed by error and some cool ass word problems (The Sierpinski Carpet, etc.). In the end we did a few vector samples for calc IV, but it was really focused on the previous.
My calc II was all about integration but started with a couple of weeks of optimization problems and using L'hopitals rule for finding some indeterminate forms. But after that, all integration, by parts, by substitution, by trigonometric substitution, by partial decomposition, etc... really brutal for many of the students. And then at the end we used these to do 3d solids using varying methods (rotational volume, etc...) What kicked my ass the most was a problem using a partial decomposition then after some algebra a trigonometric substitution and then getting a 3d volume using it...hated that one.
But it was a battle well fought and I celebrated after I won.

Re: Take that Calc 2!
Great job, man, really. I've got such deep respect and admiration for peeps who can pull off calc2 with a B or better. I took calc 2 three times .. twice I got a D, then the third time i failed. i figured "fuck calc and all other math" and finished with a bs in anthropology (still had to take intro to stats / elementary stats / intermediate stats) but I HATE MATH!! mostly trig identities and other bullshit like that. blech.
congrats again, im' jealous. :4
