Re: IRON attitude
Viper,
Everyone has people they prefer to squad with on the server and people that they prefer not to squad with. Nothing wrong with having an opinion but it might not be fair to judge any clan based on a few individuals. I know that ELK is really fun to squad with and either Manno is good when they are not flying or locked. Will they get after you for not doing things to help the squad? You bet, but any good SL will.
When choosing a squad you may want to ask what the SL plans on doing. If he is going to fly the jet or chopper you may be better moving to a new squad if you want to ground pound. No communication or orders from the SL...move to a new squad. Eventually you will find a SL that fits your game style.

Re: IRON attitude
Wow, I had not noted this post until now...not much to say that has not been said.
IRON is a kick ass group of BF2 players, and also a fellow TTP resident BF2 clan. Some of my favorite people to play with are in that clan, Elk is one of the first few people I remember playing with, and a true teamplayer, as are all of them. If they rubbed you the wrong way, chances are you rubbed them the wrong way. But that happens; I have kicked guys from my squad for not following orders only to have them come back the next round and do everything I need.
I will say that any good TTP player should understand that an order from your commander or SL is golden and must be followed. Failure to follow any orders not only raises some hackles, but can get the ban stick on in a hurry.
I have noticed, that in certain IRON squads, they have such a synergy and familiarty with each other that they seem to communicate less than I am used to; but in truth they know exactly what is going on and dont need to tell each other every move.
Dont take it too personally, they are a tough group of players, and they know it. You should have sen the ass whooping they delivered to the general population in there IRON vs all match. Good stuff!
