Thread: I've Come to play... as a team.

Whats up everyone. I feel really out of place posting a new thread up on TPG. Mostly because I haven't played on a TPG server in months until recently this week. I'm still quite new to TPG since it's name change and migration. I've been out of the loop for quite some time and am ready to get back into the community I once gamed on daily. I see a lot has changed, and probably is continuing to change. New servers, Servers Gone, New Faces, New forums ext... Anyways, I had a moment a few days when I was in the middle of playing a SC II round... I was extremely bored and dulled by the fact that I was not communicating with my teammates and my teammates were not communicating with me. I thought to myself, "This really $#%ing sucks, I'm not having any fun. I'm now not only effectively rotting my brain playing video games, I'm contributing to the wide spread illness of Anti Social Gamer Disorder."


I started thinking about TTP and all the fun I've had on the servers and off. I immediately dug up my BF2 disk and shortly after jumped on the BF2 TPG server, I saw a few familiar faces, GMG, Supercarl and others... I had my fun and logged off and came here, where I've kinda been trying to catch up with whats going on for the last 2-3 days or so. I see HRD continues to grow in size, and get new members, as it always has... But something is amidst, where the hell is everyone?
I see that JB is constantly logged on to the forums as usual. "JBMCW2010 03:22 AM --- Viewing Index TeamPlayer Gaming Forum page." ( I think thats been his status since Wednesday.. lol)

But this just doesn't feel the same as it use to...... Does that make any scene to anyone? I dunno, maybe it's me that has changed, I feel like a intruder almost. Blah blah blah.... Enough of all that.

What I'm really try to say is, I came to play, and have no idea where to begin... I want team play God Dammit! I want that rush that I use to get when swarming a flag or running as a squad. TTP/TPG opened my eyes to what online gaming should be like, and I'm looking to get back to where it all began. Now then, What games do you all play?! I know there is only a select few games that TPG is hosting these days, but where can I find good old fashion Team work? I'm wide open for suggestions and new things, My rig is finally able to keep up with the latest out there, so there is nothing hindering me from trying something new. Are there any new games that TPG is looking at supporting in the future?

Haha is that really my status? Dono how it does that, I usually view the forums from my phone. I too haven't played much at all, like 2 or 3 rounds of TF2 in maybe as many months.

I've been posting more recently. School has been keeping me busy. Finishing up a second Bacholars. If I know where and when you'll be on I can try and join you. Shoot me a pm and I can give ya my cell so you can even text me when you get on.

As for tonight I think I might be playing Civ5.

Hey Rooster it was great seeing you in-game again...a few guys commented on seeing you back and HRD guys were looking forward to you joining their squad. I promise you if you join them in BF2 you'll get the old TTP teamplay feeling.

Don't forget it was you that got me into PR and we(well me and the mouse in my back pocket) still play PR so you can join me there as well.
