Re: {HRD} v.s. [IRON]
Now that there´s a clear definition of what an airwhore and quality pilots are, what´s the definition of a quality ground pounder?
I´d say it´s a player with enough experience to pick and choose their battles...a player that keeps moving and knows what to attack and what to defend and is usually on the right place on the right time. A quality groundpounder is someone that predicts and is 2 steps ahead of the enemy at all times.

Quality Ground Pounder - See CivilWars
I guess as there are Airwhores and quality pilots there are also ground pounders and ground beef.
Ground pounders, as Xav said, know what is important, and what you can live without. They know which flags their team needs to hold to win, and the best ways to get them. They also know when to stick around to make sure a flag is held, and when to move to the next one.
Ground beef are the players that just keep throwing themselves on the same flag over and over only to be chewed up and spit out by the enemy. They also have a habit of following 4 other squads to the 1 flag your team does not have only to let the enemy sneak out and cap 3 more. They have no clue what it means to clear a flag, so even if they cap it they move on and let the enemy that was just laying in wait for them to leave cap it right back from them.
I could probably go on for days, but I think most are tired of hearing me ramble on.
