Hi gentlemen,

My first [IRON] forum post!....

When told that aircraft in BF2 can be a considerable commander asset I fell about laughing with my little feet in the air. "Pure utter dribble says I !".............And for good reason gentlemen. We have all seen those that wish to stand stagnating waiting for a toy to materialise atop of them. They stand there tapping the e button like a crazed five knuckle shuffle. The conclusion of course is a seat in their favorite toy...."Aaaahhh cumming mummy!".

Heard all this before have we not?. So why the post?.

I'll tell you why my little ferrous friends........Best dam piece of air cover ever. Period.

Commanding on Tampa was a nightmare and we was having the shit kicked out of us. The squads were moving and performing well.......But. The enemy were defending well and moving fast to counter threats. They were determined and fought well. Something needed to be done. The call went out and was answered.

As I re lay-ed enemy movement of armour and infantry to flags they were systematically destroyed by one maverick flying squad leader....And then on Mic asked for more of the same.

The battle raged and time and time again armour and infantry alike was laid waste. The threat gone I could divert squads else were.

A great display of air power. I have seen none of the like before. To nullify enemy threat at the commanders discretion I have never witnessed. The enemy was thwarted in their tactics and nullified quick order.

Roo you were quite simply superb. You made the difference.
