That is a great case.....nice and roomy and easy as hell to work with. They keep things nice and cool too....and not nearly as loud as you would think with all of those massive fans.

Have you covered up the HDD and Power lights yet? I covered mine with an ASUS sticker from my mb on day one.....just WAY too damn bright.

The only way to get rid of it is get a new HDD....and if yours still works,then why bother.

Look over your packing slips or reciept and see whether the hard drives are SATA or IDE.

If indeed you are running IDE drives, thats an older technology. You want SATA, especially considering that bad ass machine. Did you get the install disk of Windows?

This isn't to point out a flaw in your new bad ass machine. Its simply to say that your hard drive is a consideration when looking at the overall performance of the machine. Upgrading to a SATA drive is not very expensive and not hard. Shit, its more of a pain in the ass to install BF2 than it is to install Windows anymore.

Ahhhh, thanks man. Yes the ribbon goes to my new DVD. And I have more of those extra Sata cords. So I just take the ribbon off and use the Sata?

Well, actually. I have sata cord coming from the hard drive. But there is no sata from the DVD burner. Only has the ribbon slot. It's a brand new one. Is that right?

has to be made to use SATA so, it would require buying a new *insert hardware here*

But no fret... If it's just to the DVD drive you're safe for the most part :P

It's not like you'll see an AMAZING increase in speed anyway.
