Application

I didn't see a application template, so I'm just gonna wing this.

I first came across a TTP server through Consultant while playing CSS. I cant recall all the details as far as map, score, who played the best, but one thing I can recall clearly is the quality communication and teamwork used. It was an excellent display of coordination on attack, defense, and overall organization. I also remember how out of place I felt to not be apart of it and wishing that I could be. I later mentioned something to Consultant about it on another board and he said that was regular proceedings with you guys and I was very impressed.

So some time later when TF2 was in beta I had gotten very into it being that I was a huge TFC fan. I had a small crew that I rolled with for a while, we had our own server and things went well for a while. Eventually though TF2 died amongst the group with everyone but me. So I was stuck playing random servers with random skill levels and not enjoying the game as much as I previously had. Again something came up in a thread we had and Consultant mentioned that if you really want to enjoy the game that I should check out the TTP TF2 servers. So I made my way over here and it was the exact same thing I remembered on the CSS server, except with a game I enjoyed more. So it was a best case scenario for me and my love for the game was resurrected if you will. Ive been playing here as much as I can and its the only place I can imagine playing at, so this naturally lead to me applying and luckily being accepted as a TTP Reservist. There are few moments in gaming that I can recall that made me feel privileged, even honored, but becoming a reservist here at TTP so early in my time here definitely goes down as one of them.

So I feel like I have gone through a transformation here at TTP. First I was a random player who wasn't aware of the awesomeness that is TTP. Now I have established myself a little bit and actually feel apart of the community. So the next step would be for me to find a clan to actually give me a home here at TTP. So it only makes sense for me to apply to the clan that first opened my eyes to TTP and its ideology and try give back to you through my abilities. I feel that I have a lot to give as far as teamwork goes for the Killers. I cant speak too much on what I can bring, because I don't want to come off cocky. So with that said I think I am a complete team player and have no problem doing whatever it takes to benefit the team.

I look forward to the chance of possibly wearing the Killers tag and rolling with your crew. The Killers showed me how teamwork really works and so its no surprise to find you as one of the most established resident clans here. Thanks and I hope to hear good things from you!

Great App...

We here at the killers dont have an "Application Guideline"..Because we feel if you have the experience in the real world and what a interview goes like, then you are mature enough to know what to post in regards to joining the clan...We dont ask you how to format your application, if you cant figure out what to say..then dont apply imo...

Now a couple of personal questions..

How old are you?

Career? School? Stay home parent?(lol?)

I haven't played with you - are you willing to abide by all TTP rules and what it stands for?

I'm happy to see that my application was well received.

As for your questions, Yungryder, I am a 21 year old male. I live in Tallahassee, Florida and I am studying Media Production, at Florida State University. As for work, I have a job interview tomorrow at the Governors Club, to valet cars.

I am more than willing to abide by all of the rules established here at TTP and demonstrate regularly what they stand for.

Good app brotha. Normally this kind of thing is relatively quick, but since only a portion of us play TF2 regularly to know you they will be doing some typing on what there impression is of you so that I, and the other css folks can make an educated vote. The bottom line is it will be a little longer for us to make a decision, not to have you loose heart the first few posts paint a good picture of you.

One last thing. Do you play, post or anything of that nature in the TDR community?

I have never heard of TDR and have only become aware of them after reading the Soldier thread, in the Misfits public forum. If I have played at any of there servers, it was long before I came to TTP and it was completely random. I now know that any affiliation with them is a giant red flag and grounds for a ban. So I can say with 100% confidence that I would never involve myself with them in any way. Which is simple for me, since I have know idea who they are in the first place.
