Basically ya - wtf. Still dont know what to think of the finale - I dont get it. And like -- none of my questions were answered...

I get it.

Their fantasy flash-sideways world was a place in time and space where they all went after they died. It was void of the natural timeline. When Jack was talking to his dad at the end, he said "Some died before you, some long after." so they agreed to meet up in this place to move on (into the bright light, heaven?) together.

Hurley was the caretaker of the island, he offered to invite Ben into the church but Ben wasn't ready yet, which means that Hurley handed the island off to Ben at some point and Ben is still on the island, protecting it.

What questions do you still wonder about?

Yea I was hoping it would answer a lot of questions (from past seasons and the current one), but I'm still happy with the series overall. My biggest gripe for now is why they never named Fake Locke. I guess for now try to enjoy what they gave us: a nice fight scene between Jack and Locke, more exploration about the Island without ruining it's mystique, a return of Shannon and Boone, and some closure for all the Flight 815 characters (Walt and Micheal are the exceptions though).

Anyways, last night I shed many man tears. I love how they brought back all the dead losties, and how they interacted and enabled their flashbacks. When Locke told Jack he wishes someone does the same for him, it was pretty awesome.

When jack closed his eye, I was like damn.

Sad its over.

Michael is stuck on the island forever damned to whispering, and I was kind of ticked they didn't bring walt back, but I can kind of understand he is probably a huge tyrone right now. hahaaaa.

I still dont get it. What do you mean when that when they died they agreed to meet up in the church

I dont understand the connection between the flash sideways, and them being dead. Were all the people in that flash sideways world dead too? Is the flash sideways like the purgatory before they go to heaven or something? If so how does that make any fucking sense?! So they died in the real timeline, then relived their entire lives in the flash sideways, only to reach a certain age and meet everyone and then they get memories of their real life and then they somehow realize that they have all been dead their entire "false" life so they decide to go to a fucking church and giggle about good times and walk through a door of light

The more i think about the end the more i dont like it.

Pretty much the sideways part was purgatory. They all agreed to go on to the next life together, and meeting at the church was like the bus station or the airport before you get on and go. And the only people there were the ones that were important to Jack because they had the most impact on his life. This would explain why his dad was there because he wanted to be a surgeon like his dad was and it was his dad that he always strived to be like. Because the more you think about it, the show really was about Jack and what he did on the island. Sure he met all these people on the island, but the ones in the church were the ones that were important to him, hence why Walt wasnt there.

And like Agent said, they answered the thing with Michael a long ass time ago, but people forgot about that. He is stuck on the island, they already established that earlier in the season, but people tend to forget minute details like that because it is not what they want.

Oh and if you didnt like the end of the series, its what the writers of the show wanted to do with the end, not what the fans wanted.

And if you still have questions, buy the Final season DVD cuz the writers will be doing a QnA thing with the DVD answering questions that people feel they left out.

Once you understand joe, you will realize that it was the only way to end it. And it worked well.
