    Initializing Connection

Okay, I think I'm ready to give EVE another shot, although as I've told Bunni and Civil, I've gotta get my account unbanned first. (I think somebody was screwing with it just before or after it expired last April, cause there's a "Banned due to Account Security Compromised, contact Support" message when I try to log in. Weird.)

I'm not huge into the high-risk NullSec amokamokamok, or more to the point I'm not a fan of putting months of hard work, equipment and mounts on the line. So, I think my focus will be mining, research and production with MAYBE the occasional field trip into NullSec once I finish my Covert Ops training, which if I recall correctly I had started working on last April.

Right. I'll let ya know when I get control over my account again, the petition went out yesterday morning and CCP moves at about the pace of tired snails fucking.

Another one comes to the cause.

You will have fun with us. Right now we have about a 50/50 split of people going to nullsec and those staying, and a lot of people are leaving their alts too, so they won't be far away. Going to nullsec is a good couple of months away though, so the corp still has a lot of highsec combat going on.

Right on. Wish I knew how to get CCP to respond to my frickin' petition faster. I'm mostly curious as to where my skills got left off at.

I've had the account for years. It was last active around April 30th of last year. It has a LOT of skill points.

    Re: Initializing Connection

Okay, I see this is going to be difficult.

So, because I can't log into my account even on the support website (either my password was changed or it just won't let me log in with any password while it's banned), I had to file an Anonymous Petition. This was on Friday. Even though it asked for my email address, it never actually sent me an email, which I confirmed on my server logs. So, by Monday when I never got an email about the petition, I submitted a new petition using support@eve-online.com (per the message I get logging into EVE). They just replied to the email now, finally like 29 hours later, and said they're closing the more recent petition, please respond to the original petition you sent, thank you and bam it's locked up tight now.

Fucking unhelpful. I have no way to get to that g'damned petition, so now I have to send a THIRD petition explaining the situation and pray they actually read it without closing it and not telling me how to reach the original link. (At this point, I noticed when you submit an Anonymous Petition, they give you a petition tracking ID. That's it. Nowhere on the website can you actually enter this fucking number to find the petition.) And of course I did not get an email back for this petition either.

    This is f'ing ridiculous.
