It may just be me, but does anyone else feel like 90% of all the people you meet playing L4D online are complete idiots? I dont have any friends that have the game, and I cant meet anyone good online, because I just never find anyone good. I am usually lucky enough to get one person who has a decent head on their shoulders, but the other two people will always be playing like they just got the game today and they had no idea what it was before they bought it. These people never stay with the group, they never pay a bit of attention when someone else needs help(even though the game gives you pretty clear indications), and they always run up and start crescendo events and finales before any one is ready. Not to mention always playing without a headset. Its the same story every time the credits roll.

Most Infected killed:Me
Least damage taken:Me
Revived most survivors:Me
Healed Most survivors:Me
Least incidents of friendly fire:Oh guess who! Me.

I believe I am a pretty exceptional player(not to brag) and if only this game had some sort of skill rating so it could match you with players of your level, I would be so happy.

Believe it or not I think the community on here is top notch. Have you ever played COD4? Though anyway iunno I usually dont like playing with people who play seriously. I just play for fun with my friends. I will say I do run ahead and usually I play around as in when my friends are incapacitated I throw Molotovs at them. This is just how we play I mean whatever works for you go for it. I have found more serious players on L4D then fun ones.

The Counterstrike players are much worse. But it's true it's not easy to find good players. I usually don't have too much problems finding good players for Co-Op. The occasional idiot (not sticking to team, setting off alarms on purpose, being an overall dick) usually gets kicked by vote.
Though sometimes I have to change difficulty back from Advanced to Normal because there are ubernoobs on my team who just aren't experienced enough. But if they're nice and more or less follow the experienced ones, it's not a problem. I prefer to play advanced with at least one or two persons of my friends list because in Advanced, I need my team even more.

But then there is Versus... it usually takes 4 or 5 games before finding a decent server. I'm not even talking about inexperienced players... hell I'm still inexperienced at VS myself but I'm talking about dickheads, people who curse and insult if you miss an attack and trolls. I still like Versus, but I know it'll take some connects/disconnects before finding a server with nice people.
