Is Comcast cheating me?

My connection has been so bad lately that when I try to browse the web it takes me to mobile sites, this is becoming more frequent. It has lasted two days this last time and I'm sick of it. Also I pay for the "Blast" package and rarely get the speeds.

Anyone else have this package? What kind of speeds do you get?

That picture there; that's the speeds you normally get or the speed you're getting now? If it's what you're getting now, it sounds like you have packet loss or something.

I just did that, this is while its running good, when it's bad I can't get online to test.

Call up Comcast next time it happens. If it continues and they don't do anything about it, contact the Better Business Bureau.

Good advice about the BBB, when I call they run me through basic trouble shooting, which I do before I call. I've been through it so many times I know the steps;

1 unplug modem. wait plug back in
2 restart computer, they are implying that its on my end with questions about my setup by now.
3 They ask if I have a router, yes I do I have a Netgear N600 wireless dual band router, with no issues.
4 They usually blame the router and tell me to call their customer service. BS I've tried it without the router, same results.

Next time, stay plugged in directly to the modem. That way, they can't give you the runaround.

Daamn man I wrote a reply and it disappeared....

How many splitters do you have in front of the modem? make sure all are in good shape, sounds like a signal issue.

Comcast blows ass (I used to install modems for them)

This is the same test server you used, I'm in NJ

When the guy installed it I watched him run a whole separate line just for the computer, he said the other one had too many splits. Since I live in town homes and get free basic cable I believe it.
