No boom on the 4th.

It has been a wild summer for me, but to top it off we have a major drought down in se texas. There has been a burn ban for months. So I knew I wouldn't be able to shoot fireworks but now all the cities in my area have canceled their shows! I have kids who can't wait to see the fireworks. The fire department always bring their trucks to the events so I don't see why one show in the county would be a big deal. Anyway so thats my lunch time rant, I hope you all have a great 4th and be safe.

I saw some drought pictures. Hope it all goes well for you! This happened a few years ago in Colorado. Sucks yes, but just got shooting. I always liked guns better on the fourth rather than fireworks, it just seems more patriotic.

Luckily I live in WA where even when it's dry outside Seattle things are hard to burn... But we'll be able to light off fireworks! You'll just have to find something else to do...

I have to admit I watched the best show of my life last night. It looked like you were in the middle of it. Was a low show put on by a hobbyist in my neighborhood. Sat 150 feet from the fireworks so it was amazing! Hope everyone else had a safe and amazing 4th!

Deer Park did theirs as well. Was a pretty good show. But this was the 1st 4th of July that I can remember that the crowd was not full of kids and sparklers. Did see a single sparkler the entire time there. And didn't hear any fireworks throughout the night either.

Damn drought sucks.
