Dear Rogues,

Below you will find my application for membership in the Rogue Status clan.

Why go Rogue?

I've been a registered member of TPG for about two years now. However, when I started playing on TPG servers three years ago I was happy to finally see a teamplay community that not only fostered friendship and learning among players but encouraged it. When Blonde and Texan started this clan I wanted to join it immediately because I found myself playing among its members over any other clan in the community. And it stood for something other than gaming and skill. RS members do not throw their weight around the TPG servers they do not engage in pretentious behavior.

Aside from the gaming behavior of the clan I must emphasize the point that I play more with Rogue Status members than any other clan in the community. Seeing an RS member join a game influences me to join a game whether it is blonde, BT, tcD, Bucket, etc. The majority of people interested in RS have something innately in common, they were not happy in their previous clan which left them wanting. This is what essentially makes us rogues in the first place we have negated our past affiliations for a new culture, method, or way of life: a brotherhood.

What separates me from other players?

I guess I am a bit of special case in game, outside of the game, and in the lobbies of games. I am always willing to do whatever is necessary for my team to accomplish its objective. If that means a suicide flash on lower A in Season or in Banana count me in. If it is to distract a tank so others can kill it, count me in. As an educator in real life I know the value of knowledge and learning in everything you do. Unfortunately, in previous affiliations, learning never occurred and I lack the skill that most RS members seem to have. Learning takes two things, patience and the will to understand that you need new knowledge; I have both and cannot wait to become a better player and community member. Lastly, in the lobbies of games, particularly L4D2 I have a tendency to engage in outrageous discussions (usually this makes the lobby process quicker especially if fly is in there).

Well I suck at making duck noises so I guess I can howl better. When are we going to Vegas Kanati?

What games do you play?
L4D2; CSS; CSGO; BF3; (I REALLY WANT TO PLAY DAYZ); I still play WoW its like crack. I play COD a lot and belong to a non-tpg COD (CTF) clan for PC called Accidental Discharge (.aD).

Infraction History:
1. July 27, 2012 : Site ban for posting in the "Banned" section of the forums. I didn't read the stickies in a while.

Great app Duck. I particularly liked this part. I never thought about us Rogues like this, but now that I think about it, it does pertain to some of us. I really enjoy playing with you and your laid back personality. That is something all of us Rogues have in common. I'll get your vote started immediately. Sit tight.
