You don't get it...lol. Disks are useless with Steam. You could install by disc, and still have to download all of the content.

Once you make a Steam account...and buy a Valve game..install said game ...it's tied to that account forever.

I dont buy virtual products. I know how steam works i already have an account an have for at least a couple years. Also on those lines if bf4 isnt stand alone away from origin i wont be buying it either and thats still on a BIG if they manage to make the game right. Im just not a follower. If it doesn't meet my standards i dont give a damn what anyone else is doing.

...you still don't know how Steam works. Discs aren't needed.....nor are they practical, in the context of how Steam operates.

I HIGHLY doubt anyone that knows me is going to gift me a video game. I get the same thing for every occasion jeans and sneakers. Doing flooring you go thru a LOT of both items. Like today i will be going to buy 7 more pairs. Its the only job i know where you can wear the front of the shoe clean off inside a couple months. Unless you buy steel toes which end up cutting the tops of your toes from being bent all day while crawling around.

Plus everyone already knows i pretty much buy what i want when i want to. Things got tight the last two years but im pretty much back to what i use to do at a level im comfortable with. There wont be any more 200k years but im fine with working 40-50 hours instead of 70-80. Now if i could just get one of these damn home purchases to come thru so i'll have my first rental house i'll be happy.

Guyver yes i know how steam works. Its more about my standards then it is practicality. I actually run road runner lightning but to be honest i dont see much of a difference from when i ran standard dsl. I think im pissing away money for a service thats being throttled back. Might be time to cancel that shit as well but i bet if i did they would find the problem i complained about.

I could tell you for a fact that Steam shits out gold when you use it....and you'd still find an excuse.
