I hate PB as much as I like it, I now have to switch a shader file if I want to switch between PR and BF2 what a piss off. No idea why but that is the case.

And it is the same issue but mine says something about losing connection while updating

I had shader problems as well. I installed and uninstalled special forces 4 times gettting it to work. I kept getting an error message when I would try to load the game that said it couldn't find lighting.fx and it said in the same error to link the shader files. I tried several things hoping it wopuld work but no success.

Tomorrow I will uninstall the base BF2...reinstall and try special forces again. Unless you guys know something elsr I can do.

By the way....when the game was trying to load I never got to the log in screen before I got the damn error message.

I wish I can help you Dusty but I'm not familiar yet with PB. If you ask about DoD 1.3 a bit of Source well I got lots to show you.

Thanks hun. I miss squading with you. It seems like we are always on the other side. I think it is fixed and I will try it out later on today. Thanks everyone.
