I don't get to play much, usually on the weekends or a little at night sometimes but I can help you out if you need it. My Minstrel is lvl 21 now though I believe and my Guardian is sitting around lvl 9 as well.

It was probably an invite to a Fellowship (aka group/party) unless he has his own Kinship (aka guild) or has invite powers.

No not really. The PvP is rather limited and you cannot access it until later, especially if you are going the F2P route.

eh i got my damnd horse but i had to spend hours apon hours killing the woodland creatures its like that WoW episode of southpark but for you or your guild i got a bank full of crafting crap free if you want also lvl 21 probably be 23-34 by today although lore masters kinda boring but whatever

f2p can recive money they just cant give it or use the AH

I bought stuff from the AH and have put stuff up on the AH. I think it is different though depending on if you are a standard Free Player or Premium Player, not sure as it doesn't say what the difference is, just limited.

You can only put 5 things on the AH at a time though. And it is really easy to get money in that game, just got to pick up the right stuff and sell the right crap. It honestly doesn't sound like you are enjoying yourself though. If you're not having fun you should either quit or try a different class. Champions and Hunters are supposed to be really fun. I enjoy the Captains myself, but haven't made one this time yet.
