Star Citizen aka goodbye life in 2014
I am really hoping that TPG hosts a server for this when it comes out in 2014 because I guarantee all of my game time is going into it. This looks amazing and I have been waiting for a game like it since thinking about the idea in 1998.

Basically it is a space sim/FPS built on cry engine 3 set in a persistent universe but what has me very excited is that you can actually board and fight over ships and stations with the potential for planetary combat.

Re: Star Citizen aka goodbye life in 2014
I discovered it 4 days ago and already pledged. With Chris Roberts at the helm I have a good feeling this is not going to pull a huxley or something. Unfortunately I keep looking at all my games now and thinking all of these suck.
Yep I already have fanboy syndrome.... damnit

Yes, however it sounds like capital ships will be expensive and take a long time to build or require capture. Here is a link to the Idris corvette (10 man crew).

Though this is tiny compared to the Bengal Carrier (which at this point we are not sure if it can be player controlled)
We do have confirmation of player controlled Destroyers, Frigates, and Escort Carriers (15 million dollar stretch goal)
