Okay time again for me to give a SERIOUS answer. Personally, I dont like it. But I am forced to have one. All my friends use it, and have sicne stopped texting me. If I ditch mine, I lose about 80% of my friends, contact wise. I am also a freebie whore, which means I like to sign up for free samples. A majority of companies use 'liking' their page for free stuff to attarct more users. So basically I keep it because I am forced to, but I will never get a Twitter. I have turned down a lot of money because I wouldnt get a Twitter.

lets put it this way,
I dont get free texting.
Therefore Facebook is the real only way to communicate with my friends, unless i want to pay pounds of cash in texts.

So I mostly use it for It's messenger.

ALTHOUGH there are a few apps i will use on occasion, i will agree some things on facebook are decent time-wasters when im bored.

I love facebook.

My family lives in NC, plus I have a variety of friends who live far away who I don't get to see/talk to alot. So it's nice to see whats going on in their life.

It's a great way to keep in touch. I hate when people bitch about farmville - you dont have to participate in that shit, and can easily ignore said posts.

I don't see why people hate it, if you dont like it, don't go on it/make an account. Sure there are annoying people who feel the need to inform the world they just tied their shoelaces, but is it that hard to ignore? or are you spending that much time on it?
