Anyway... I have Facebook and I like it, I check it quickly on my phone 99% of the time and if I'm on a PC I'm too busy with Forums and other things than to be looking through FB and re-freshing the page every 20 seconds.

A lot of my social life planning starts on FB, then makes it way to texting/ringing then to real life. Also it's an easier way to meet with a tonne of people for a Birthday etc. (by making a group)

I have a few people on mine who will not stfu about how their life sucks, I make fun of people daily on their own status', it's amusing. Also, if you want to it's easy just to hide their status.

I use facebook.
I know a homeschooled family who lives about 3 hours away, I used to be quite close to the oldest Daughter. so she told me to sign up to Facebook, and so I did.
At first my account was deleted and I got on FB's case about it and refused to go back. ("Everyone can join - Its free!" Was very misleading as Homeschoolers cannot join unless they lie about there age. I pointed that out to them, and was very P.O'd when they deleted my account right after I e-mailed them.)
But, my mom made me a new account and insisted I go back. whenever I go to a camp site, it is now a universal language it seems. "Do you have facebook?" a lot of people go around on the last day asking that. LOL. its quite a funny sight.
Anyways, yeah, I use it to connect. my mom also uses my account to play facebook games. its fun, and I like to harass my friends on it. its just a way to connect. I don't see anything wrong in it unless you keep your privacy settings too low :\ but thats your choice, so, meh.

This is the best way to use it rather than playing silly games.

It fucking sucks, it sucking fucks, it's a piece of shit, and... I don't like it. (I think only TeenRacer will get that reference, if he's even watched that episode).

In all seriousness though, I don't use Facebook, and I really hate most of the community. Ironically, the people I hate most on there are adults older than 30. Lots of them act highly immature and childish, so it's really obnoxious.

I've always thought of Facebook of an E-Mail for Dumbies. But that's fine, too, nothing wrong with simplicity.

It's a convenient way of keeping connected, especially as a graduate now. It was also handy at uni for everything, saves me using my phone.

Sure it pisses me off, but I just hide all the idiots who update every 10 mins about what they're eating. It's easily abused but that's easily rectified.
