Thread: An Alliance Ends. A Friendship Remains.

In the spirit of teamplay, two clans joined forces to take on the awesome might that is the ][5th Column][. The Clans of {Honor, Respect, Duty} and ::Victrix::, while defeated in battle, did not come out of this as anything but winners as well. Nothing gained in the spirit of teamplay can be considered a loss. No friendship forged is a loss.

While the formal alliance ends with the close of the match, the friendship that began will remain; possibly opening the doors to further joint ventures, and perhaps even friendly competitions. I, personally, am grateful that you allowed {HRD} the opportunity to join forces with you.

As such, to recognize what was accomplished here, I would like to present to all participants of the Alliance something to grace their signature images, should they so choose:

On the left is a "flag" version, geared more towards HRD sig style. On the right is a "pin" style, to resemble an award pin from 2142. (yes,. the very flag I have in my sig right now) While it is not required that {HRD} use the flag and VTRX the pin only, that was the theme of choice that I went with. Feel free to wear either one, or none at all.

The background is a combination of VTRX blue and HRD grey. The foreground is an "A" to represent the word Alliance, surrounded by the symbols of both our clan's tags.

Wear it with pride, for while we were not victorious, neither did we lose.

I like the oval myself... I'll see if I can get Mike to slap it onto my sig...

And I don't see why the alliance needs to end... after ally, many of us have BF2 as well... and then there is the inevitable rematch with the 5th...
