Thread: BlackspecOp team killer????

an odd situation however that happened. Know we care and look out for you as we do with any one of us. Don't sweat it too much, $hit happens, right?!
I sure know I have my fair share of accidental TKs :3

There were some guys on tonight that were podding out and landing on our own transport and dying when they blew up. Naturally because the game is dumb, if someone was in the transport, then when it blew up and killed the other guys, it would be a TK even if the other guys caused it. I saw them in action tonight before they got the boot, but even then they did a decent amount of damage while we were looking for an admin. We lost horribly. I heard they were on yesterday though too and practically killed the server doing that. The same time you were on. So BSO, if you saw that going on, that's probably what happened. Either that or you were batting for the other team that round.

They stuck around for a bit and even seemed to leave and change soldiers at one point. Assuming anyway, because the same crap kept going on. HyunDavid and StephanColbert were the culprits here.

Reminds me of the time I was sniping a beacon with a tank on Tampa, I kept blowing the crap out of a whole squad as they stubbornly podded in, then I realized that they were the Blue team... or when I podded onto a busy silo and rapid carnage ensued, I killed everyone on site, except half the players there were on my own team. I have learned to be more careful, sometimes a grenade bounce or a suprise collision with a comrade in arms that I mistake for the enemy turns into an accidental TK... and I go to great lengths to try to get a med kit and revive if at all possible. I try to be more careful about seeing the red tag from a distance before I fire, sometimes it doesn't show up when you are sniping.Then there is that glitch where everyone that jumps out of your transport dies and you get punished for them. That can really add up... and you have to watch the equipment damage. I always seem to get negative scores for jihad jeep runs. Sometimes I destroy friendly armor (unmanned, of course) to keep them out of enemy hands, and sometimes I destroy friendly sentries when I can't tell if they are friendly or not. I think those things impact your score negatively, but these are not illegal or boneheaded moves like the podders Raven pointed out, and I don't mind having a low or negative score as long as we win the game fairly. Yes, the game is dumb. Sometimes a great squad leader pays the price in points for his troubles, too, while his squad reaps the benefits... but it is an honorable sacrifice. I can't imagine you intentionally TKing BSO, much less on that scale.. something else is wrong...
