Thread: It has begun...

Just after I hit the post button, I will be setting this MacBook aside and I will begin construction of my new, Victrix-built computer. All the parts are here, and I'm home.... TIME TO GET TO WORK!

Well, so far everything is running smoothly. That A+ Certification class back in high school paid off. Now, on to the formatting and OS install!

Currently I am at 4% of formatting my 1TB HDD. No, I did not use the quick format. That's not something I want to take a chance on. I'll keep you posted on teh Victrix machine.... see you tomorrow! (later today)

Well, this is me, posting to you from my new comp =) So far everything's working pretty decently... I did run into a small problem while setting up XP where some one file wouldn't copy, so I just skipped it... and so far it's working... ha! Hopefully it doesn't catch up to me later. But, I think I'm planning on getting Win 7 eventually anyway, at which point I'll probably just do another fresh install. So no big.

I'll probably be running XP updates for the next few hours... haven't even gotten to SP 3 yet. lol

OMG - another Mac convert? What is the world coming to?
