Thread: Really bad night...

So, my dad has been having a lot of trouble with his lungs lately. Pnuemonia was what the doctors said, but it has been going on for at least two weeks now. The first sign was that he.went to the hospital one day and actually feinted while he was there. So, at about 11 last night, he calls and says he needs to speak to my mom. He's breathing pretty heavily, so I figure something is up. My mom goes to pick him up and she takes him to the hospital. They find out he has blood clots in his lungs. He's now in intensive care for the next five days at leqst... man, this night has sucked...

Doesn't sound like much fun.......Hopefully he makes a quick recovery.

wow I am so sorry, Thankfully sounds like they caugh it in time and he should be fine they probably will give him blood thinners for life.

Thaknks guy. Blah, he's getting tests done, so I don't know if there will be amy effects. But I'm pretty sure there's a treatment.

so he got a bad lung from pneumonia?

It could have been much worse as the clots could have gotten to his brain. Hopefully, he'll be OK.

Arthor, I don't what happened. It could have been caused by the pnuemonia, but I don't know.

Was he coughing a lot when he had the pneumonia?
